 Stansbury History

The History of Stansbury is exhibited
in the original schoolroom.

There are many old books & other relevant written histories available for research.

A map of the cemetery &
accompanying listings is available.

   

The rest of the building was the original headmaster's residence & many of the rooms are captured in the appropriate circa 1910 era, including bedroom, sitting room, dining room and the clothing room.

Other rooms have collections of items such as the doll arrangement, camera & clock display, kitchen utensils & more.

 Clothing room.

   

Agricultural Past.

With the agricultural past of the district there is a series of exhibits in an appropriate environment, along with some of the local past industrial pursuits.

   

The Stansbury Museum is open
Sunday & Wednesday 2.00pm to 4.00pm
Daily in January 2.00pm to 4.00pm
Any other time please contact one of the Volunteers,
Who will arrange a convenient time to be open.
