Port Victoria Main Street
Port Victoria is a peaceful seaside town which has
the simple pleasures of life
boating, fishing, diving & swimming.

The Last Windjammer Port
It is known as "The last of the Windjammer Ports",
because it was from here that the last ships to sail
in the Great Grain Race left for England in 1949.
An attractive memorial on the foreshore, close to
jetty, commemorates those valiant ships and sailors.
The people of Port Victoria are proud of their jetty,
which is over 100 years old, and has recently been partly restored. The jetty is a popular fishing spot.
